Okay, so The Adventures of Kid Kleets is this weirdly charming SNES game where you’re basically a soccer-playing action hero. Like, you’re running through these colorful levels, bouncing the ball off enemies’ heads, and occasionally stopping to kick it into a goal—because why not? It’s part platformer, part sports game, and somehow it works.
At first, I thought the controls would be clunky, but dribbling actually feels pretty smooth once you get the hang of it. The levels get surprisingly creative—one minute you’re dodging spikes in a jungle, the next you’re bouncing the ball off floating platforms in the sky. And yeah, the music’s got that classic SNES energy, all upbeat and slightly repetitive in the best way.
It’s not the deepest game ever, but there’s something satisfying about pulling off a perfect run where you don’t lose the ball once. If you’re into obscure retro stuff with a weird gimmick, this one’s a fun little time capsule.
