Man, Tetsuwan Atom on SNES is one of those classic side-scrollers that just oozes charm. You start off as Atom, flying through these bright, chunky pixel levels, blasting robots with your arm cannon—feels straight out of a Saturday morning cartoon. The controls are snappy, which helps when you're dodging enemy shots or weaving through tight spaces.

Some levels throw curveballs, like sudden wind gusts or platforms that vanish under your feet. Took me a few tries to get the timing down, but nailing a tricky jump or clearing a screen full of enemies is super satisfying. And the music? Pure 16-bit energy—that main theme still gets stuck in my head.

If you grew up with Astro Boy or just love retro action, this one’s a blast. Just don’t expect it to go easy on you.
