Ever played Tetris but wished it had a little more... chaos? That’s basically Tetris Flash on SNES. It’s classic block-dropping action, but with these weird power-ups that flip the board, speed things up, or just mess with your head. The Japanese version has some extra modes too—like a puzzle mode where you clear specific shapes instead of just stacking endlessly.
First time I booted it up, I thought it’d be a straight port, but nope. The music’s got that early ‘90s synth vibe, and the blocks feel a tiny bit heavier than the NES version. Weirdly satisfying when you nail a combo and the screen flashes like an arcade cabinet.
If you’re into Tetris but want something with a little more personality (or frustration, depending on how those power-ups treat you), this one’s a fun deep cut.
