You control a boy named Ark, starting in a frozen, lifeless world. Your main goal is to literally revive the Earth, bringing back continents, plants, animals, and eventually human civilizations. The gameplay is an action RPG where you explore the world screen by screen, fighting monsters in real time with a spear and magical abilities. You delve into multi level dungeons, solving environmental puzzles and defeating bosses to progress. The pacing is deliberate, with a mix of quiet exploration and intense combat; some of the later dungeons can be quite challenging. Playing it feels like being responsible for the growth of an entire world, which gives your actions a surprising sense of weight.
