Okay, so Terminator on SNES is one of those weird '90s crossovers where RoboCop somehow ends up fighting Terminators—because why not? You’re basically running through dark, grimy cityscapes blasting robots with a shotgun, which sounds awesome until you realize how stiff the controls feel. The sprites are huge and chunky, and the music nails that eerie cyberpunk vibe, but good luck dodging anything with how slow your character moves.
First level drops you right into it—no tutorial, just a flickering neon skyline and a Terminator immediately shooting at you. I died like three times before figuring out the timing on jumps. The power-ups help, but half the time you’re just praying for health drops. It’s janky, but there’s something oddly satisfying about the sheer chaos of it all.
Honestly, it’s more fun with a friend laughing at how ridiculous it gets. Just don’t expect a polished experience.
