About Terminator 2
Terminator 2 came out for the Super Nintendo in 1993, published by LJN. It was one of many movie tie-ins from that period, trying to capture the blockbuster's action on the 16-bit system.
You control the T-800, sent to protect John Connor. The main goal is to stop the advanced T-1000 from completing its mission. You move through levels screen by screen, using a shotgun, a machine gun, and a mini-gun to fight off enemies. Some stages switch to a first-person perspective for shooting sequences, while others have you riding a motorcycle. The pacing is fast, and the difficulty can be punishing, demanding quick reflexes. It feels like a direct, sometimes chaotic translation of the film's key action scenes.
