Remember when basketball games were all about fast breaks and ridiculous dunks? Tecmo Super NBA Basketball nails that arcade feel—no complicated controls, just pick a team and go. The rosters are outdated now, obviously, but there's something fun about seeing those classic '90s jerseys and players.
It's a straight upgrade from the first Tecmo NBA game, with smoother animations and way more teams. The AI isn't exactly genius, but it's good enough for quick matches. And yeah, the Genesis version exists, but the SNES one just feels right—colors pop, controls are tight, and those midi organ riffs during timeouts are weirdly charming.
If you're into retro sports games, this one's a solid time capsule.
