It’s basically the follow-up to Tecmo NBA Basketball, but with smoother controls and way better animations. The players actually look like they’re moving instead of sliding across the court.

First thing you’ll notice? The colors pop way more than the first game. The jerseys are brighter, the courts don’t look as flat, and the crowd animations are a nice touch. Controls take a second to get used to—passing feels a little stiff at first, but once you figure out the timing, you can pull off some decent plays. And yeah, the dunks look ridiculous in that classic early-90s way.

Not gonna lie, the AI can be brutal if you crank up the difficulty. But if you just wanna mess around with friends, it’s a solid pick for some old-school hoops action. Definitely an upgrade from the first one.
