About Tecmo Super Nba Basketball (europe)
Tecmo released Tecmo Super NBA Basketball for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1992. It was a sequel to their earlier NES basketball title, arriving during a period when sports games were rapidly adopting the SNES's graphical capabilities. This game was part of that push, offering a more detailed visual presentation of professional basketball than many of its predecessors.
You control a five man basketball team, switching between players on defense and directing the ball handler on offense. The main objective is to outscore your opponent within the timed quarters. Signature mechanics include the turbo button for quick bursts of speed and a dedicated button for stealing the ball, which requires careful timing to avoid a foul.
