Man, Tecmo Super Bowl II on SNES was such a blast back in the day. It’s basically the same classic football action from the first game, but with a few nice tweaks—updated rosters, smoother animations, and just enough new plays to keep you experimenting. The passing game still feels crisp, and there’s something satisfying about breaking a long run with a well-timed juke.
If you played the original, you’ll recognize the vibe immediately, but the little refinements make a difference. The Genesis version is solid too, but the SNES one just has that extra bit of polish. Either way, it’s pure 90s football nostalgia.
