About Tecmo Super Baseball (beta)
Tecmo Super Baseball came out in 1994 for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, developed and published by Tecmo. It was part of that wave of mid-90s sports titles that tried to capture the feel of the big leagues on a 16-bit console.
You control a full baseball team, managing your players in the field and taking your swings at the plate. The main goal is to outscore your opponent over nine innings. A couple of its standout features are the battery system for pitchers, which you must manage to avoid tiring them out, and the ability to dive or jump for catches in the outfield. The game moves at a brisk pace, and the difficulty feels balanced, making you work for your hits without becoming overly frustrating. It feels solid and responsive when you connect with a pitch or make a crucial play in the field.
