Play T2 - The Arcade Game Online

I first played T2: The Arcade Game on the Super Nintendo in 1993. It was developed by Probe Software and was a direct adaptation of the light gun arcade cabinet. On the SNES, it felt like a piece of that era's ambition to bring the arcade experience home, even if it meant adapting the controls for a standard gamepad.

You control the T-800 endoskeleton from a first-person perspective, moving screen by screen through various locations from the film. Your main objective is to protect John Connor by eliminating all the Skynet enemies in each area. The signature mechanics are the targeting reticle you move with the D-pad and the rapid firing of your plasma rifle; you also have a limited supply of grenades for tougher enemies. The pacing is relentless, with enemies swarming from all sides, and the difficulty is unforgiving, demanding quick reflexes. It feels like a tense, chaotic race against the clock where every shot counts.
