Man, T2 - The Arcade Game on SNES takes me back. You start off blasting through those early levels thinking "this isn't so bad," until suddenly you're drowning in Terminators and realizing why this arcade port was so brutal. The pixelated T-800s actually look pretty good for a 16-bit game, and that metallic "clank" sound when you hit them? Perfect.
It's one of those games where you'll memorize enemy spawns after a few deaths—because you will die. The shotgun feels satisfyingly overpowered (until you run out of ammo), and some of the later stages get absolutely chaotic with explosions everywhere. Not gonna lie, the controls feel a tiny bit stiff now, but that's part of the old-school charm. If you grew up with arcade shooters or just love the Terminator vibe, it's still a blast to play through.
