About T2 - The Arcade Game (japan)
I first played T2: The Arcade Game on the Super Nintendo in 1993. It was developed by Probe Software, a company known for several licensed titles during that period. This was a time when bringing arcade shooters home was a common goal, and this game was part of that wave on the SNES.
You control a cursor on screen, shooting at endless waves of Terminators and other mechanical enemies. Your main objective is simply to survive each stage, protecting your limited health while targeting enemies before they fire back. The game is an on-rails shooter, so your path is fixed; you only aim and shoot. Signature mechanics include shooting specific weak points on larger enemies and trying to conserve ammunition. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty is high, demanding quick reflexes. It feels like a constant, frantic test of your aim and reaction speed.
