About Sutte Hakkun (japan)
Sutte Hakkun came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1997, a late release from Nintendo and developer Indieszero. It arrived when many players were already looking at newer consoles, making it a quiet discovery for those still exploring the SNES library.
You control Hakkun, a small cube-shaped creature, navigating single-screen puzzle rooms. Your main goal is to collect all the colored orbs in each stage. You do this by absorbing colored blocks from the environment, which changes Hakkun's own color; you then spit that color back out to paint specific objects or clear obstacles. The puzzles require careful planning, as you often have a limited number of blocks to use and must figure out the correct sequence of color changes. The game starts simply but becomes quite challenging, demanding precise timing and foresight. It feels like patiently untangling a knot with your mind.
