Super Wagan Land is one of those weird, charming SNES platformers that never made it outside Japan. You play as this little blue... thing (honestly not sure if it's a rabbit or some kind of alien) hopping through colorful, slightly surreal levels. The controls feel a bit floaty at first, but you get used to it—kinda like a less polished Kirby mixed with a 90s Saturday morning cartoon.
The first level throws you into this candy-colored world with giant mushrooms and bouncing enemies everywhere. There's a weird satisfaction in collecting the little star items, even if I never quite figured out what they did. And the music? Pure early 90s synth bleeps that somehow worm their way into your brain.
It's not the deepest platformer out there, but there's something oddly comforting about its simplicity. If you're into obscure retro games with personality, this one's worth a look.
