Super Turrican on SNES is basically the Amiga classic but beefed up—smoother, louder, and way more intense. The first thing you’ll notice is how crisp everything feels compared to the original, and yeah, the Dolby Surround actually makes a difference when those explosions kick in.
You start off with this ridiculous arm cannon that can morph into a flamethrower or laser whip, and the levels throw everything at you—platforming, shooting, even some light Metroid-style exploration. The music’s still an absolute banger, too. It’s one of those rare ports that doesn’t just copy the original—it improves on it.
