Super Turrican on SNES is one of those games that just feels like the 90s—fast, loud, and unapologetically intense. You start off with this beefy arm cannon, and within seconds, you're already rolling through alien-infested corridors, blasting everything in sight. The controls are tight, and that spin attack? Way more satisfying than it has any right to be.
What really sticks with me is the soundtrack—those synth-heavy tracks pump you up while robots and weird alien bugs swarm from all directions. The levels throw curveballs at you, too—one minute you're platforming over lava, the next you're in a speeder bike section that feels ripped straight out of a sci-fi flick. It’s not the deepest game, but man, it nails that arcade-style rush.
If you dig run-and-gun chaos with a side of nostalgia, this one’s still a blast to pick up.
