About Super Turrican 2 (beta2)
Super Turrican 2 came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1995, developed by Factor 5. It arrived late in the SNES lifecycle, a period when developers were pushing the hardware to its limits with advanced visual and audio techniques.
You control a lone soldier navigating large, side scrolling levels filled with alien enemies and environmental hazards. Your main goal is to survive each stage, defeat the bosses, and progress through the game's various hostile worlds. Your character wields a multi directional laser beam as a primary weapon, but the signature mechanics are the grappling hook for swinging across gaps and the temporary screen clearing smart bomb.
