About Super Troll Islands
Super Troll Islands came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1994, published by Kemco. It was part of that wave of side-scrolling platformers that filled the SNES library, a straightforward adventure that didn't try to reinvent the wheel. You play as a young boy named Leo, who sets out to rescue children kidnapped by trolls.
You guide Leo through a series of interconnected, screen-by-screen areas, navigating forests, caves, and castles. Your main goal is to find the five kidnapped children hidden throughout the world. The gameplay involves running, jumping across platforms, and using a sword to defeat the various trolls and creatures in your path. You also collect special items, like keys to unlock doors and power-ups that grant temporary abilities.
