Super Trap World Demo 1 is one of those SNES games that nails that old-school platformer feel—tight controls, pixel-perfect jumps, and traps that’ll make you groan when you fall for them (again). The first level throws you right into it: dodging spikes, timing jumps over pits, and figuring out which blocks are actually enemies in disguise.

The music’s got that classic upbeat chiptune vibe, and the colors pop just like you’d expect from a ‘90s cart. It’s not just nostalgia bait, though—some of the later traps get seriously creative, like conveyor belts that dump you into hazards if you’re not careful. I died way more than I’d like to admit figuring out the timing on those.

If you’re into platformers that don’t hold your hand, this demo’s a solid taste of what the full game might offer. Just don’t blame me when you get stuck on that one jump near the end.
