Super Tekkyuu Fight! is basically Bomberman with a Japanese twist—same grid-based chaos, but with way more anime-style explosions and weird power-ups. You still drop bombs to blast through mazes and take out opponents, but the sprites are chunky and colorful in that classic '90s Banpresto way.
First time I played, I got wrecked because I didn’t realize some power-ups actually slow you down—like that giant shoe that makes your dude move like he’s stuck in molasses. The stages get pretty wild too, with teleporters and random obstacles popping up. Not the deepest clone out there, but it’s got charm if you’re into retro multiplayer mayhem.
Definitely a niche pick for SNES collectors who dig offbeat Bomberman alternatives.
