Super Slam Dunk is one of those classic SNES basketball games that somehow feels both super arcade-y and weirdly strategic at the same time. You've got Magic Johnson leading the charge, and the controls are simple enough—pass, shoot, steal—but the AI actually puts up a decent fight if you crank up the difficulty.
The animations are kinda stiff by today's standards, but there's something charming about the way players shuffle around the court. And the dunks? Ridiculously over-the-top, like your guy hangs in the air just a little too long before slamming it home. Perfect for quick matches when you just wanna dunk on some pixels.
It's not NBA Jam, but it's got its own weird appeal.
