Super Shanghai - Dragon's Eye is one of those weird little SNES gems that never made it big outside Japan. It's a mahjong solitaire game, but with a twist—instead of matching tiles for points, you're clearing them to reveal this weird dragon's eye mural underneath. The music's oddly hypnotic, and the tile designs have that classic '90s pixel charm.
At first, it feels like regular mahjong, but then you realize some tiles are locked until you clear specific ones first. Mess up your strategy early, and you'll hit a dead end fast. I definitely restarted a few times before getting the hang of it. The dragon eye slowly appearing as you play is a cool touch, though—kinda makes you want to keep going just to see the whole thing.
If you're into puzzle games with a retro vibe, this one's a neat deep cut from the SNES library.
