Super SWIV (or Firepower 2000 if you're not in Europe) is one of those SNES shooters that doesn’t mess around. You pick either a helicopter or a tank—both handle totally differently, and the tank’s slower but beefier shots make it weirdly satisfying when you plow through waves of enemies. The levels flip between top-down and side-scrolling, which keeps you on your toes, and the music’s got that classic early ‘90s synth energy. It’s not the deepest shooter out there, but the controls are tight, and the difficulty ramps up just right. If you’re into blowing stuff up with zero fuss, this one’s a solid pick.
