About Super R.b.i. Baseball
Super R.B.I. Baseball came out for the Super Nintendo in 1995, published by Tengen. It arrived late in the SNES lifecycle, a time when many players were already looking ahead to the next generation of consoles. This game was part of a long-running baseball series, offering a straightforward arcade style of play on a familiar system.
You control all nine players on your chosen baseball team, handling both pitching and batting. The main goal is to outscore your opponent across nine innings. Signature mechanics include a simple three-button pitching system for selecting different throws and a batting cursor you must position to make solid contact with the ball. The game moves at a quick pace, and the computer opponents provide a decent challenge, especially on higher difficulty settings.
