Super Puyo Puyo Tsuu is basically the SNES version of Puyo Puyo 2, but with a fan translation patch slapped on it—so you can actually understand what the heck Arle and Carbuncle are yelling about. It's the same chaotic, color-matching madness you remember: those little blobs fall, you chain combos, and if you're good, you'll bury your opponent under a mountain of garbage blocks.

The AI starts off deceptively chill, then suddenly starts pulling off 5-chain combos like it's nothing. I still panic when I see those little nuisance Puyos creeping up my screen. The versus mode is where it really shines, though—way more fun to trash-talk a friend than the CPU.

If you've played any Puyo game before, this one feels familiar but with just enough tweaks to keep you on your toes. The music’s still weirdly catchy too.
