Super Putty is one of those weird, charming SNES platformers that never got the attention it deserved. You play as this stretchy, blobby dude who can flatten himself to squeeze through tight spots or stretch out to grab distant ledges. The physics feel surprisingly good—like, you actually have to think about momentum when flinging yourself around.

The beta version has some rough edges (obviously), but there’s something cool about seeing early level designs that didn’t make the final cut. A few of the puzzles are jankier than the retail release, but that just makes pulling them off more satisfying. If you’re into retro platformers with a twist, this one’s worth a look.
