Super Power League 3 is one of those hidden SNES gems that never made it outside Japan—which is a shame, because it's a seriously fun baseball sim with way more depth than you'd expect. The pixel art is crisp, the animations are smooth, and the gameplay nails that arcade-y feel without sacrificing strategy. You can tweak lineups, adjust fielding positions, even pull off some wild diving catches.
First time I booted it up, I got wrecked by the AI—those CPU batters don’t mess around. But once you figure out the pitch timing and get a feel for the batting mechanics, it clicks. The soundtrack’s got that classic SNES energy too, all upbeat and slightly cheesy in the best way. If you’re into retro sports games, this one’s a solid pick.
