Super Omelette World Game

Ever played a platformer where you’re basically a sentient omelette? Yeah, me neither—until Super Omelette World on SNES. It’s weirdly charming, like someone took Mario but replaced all the mushrooms with egg puns. You’ll bounce on toast platforms, dodge bacon-wielding chefs, and collect power-ups that turn you into a fluffy scrambled egg (somehow that makes you stronger).
The first level throws you right into a frying pan—literally—with these little salt-shaker enemies that just will not stop chasing you. The music’s got this upbeat, cartoony vibe that makes even falling into a pit of boiling water feel kinda fun. And don’t get me started on the boss fights—one’s a giant fork. Of course it is.
It’s not the hardest game out there, but there’s something about the sheer commitment to the egg theme that makes it stick in your brain. You’ll probably beat it in an afternoon, grinning the whole time.
