Super Off Road: The Baja takes the chaotic top-down racing of the original and throws you right into the driver’s seat—literally. The shift to third-person makes the desert tracks feel way more intense, with dust clouds kicking up and those tight canyon turns actually making you sweat. It’s still the same nitro-boosted, upgrade-hunting madness, but now you’re dodging boulders and skidding around corners like you’re actually there.
First race in, I wiped out hard trying to take a shortcut over some rocks—lesson learned. The trucks handle like they’ve got actual weight to them, and the AI doesn’t hold back. You’ll spend your winnings tweaking your ride between races, picking between better tires or a stronger engine, and honestly? It’s tough to choose. The Baja’s got that “one more race” pull, especially when you’re inches behind first place and your nitros are almost charged.
It’s rough around the edges (beta life), but that just adds to the charm. If you liked the original but wanted more dirt in your face, this one’s a solid follow-up.
