Okay, so Super Noah’s Ark 3D is one of those weird SNES games that makes you go, "Wait, this exists?" It’s basically a first-person shooter, but instead of guns, you’re Noah with a slingshot, pelting food at rowdy animals to keep them from tearing the ark apart. The controls are janky in that classic early-3D way, but there’s something weirdly satisfying about lining up a shot on a giraffe that’s bouncing off the walls.
It’s got that early Wolfenstein 3D engine vibe—blocky textures, tight corridors, and animals that somehow look both adorable and terrifying when they’re charging at you. The first time a lion starts sprinting down the hallway, you’ll panic-shoot three apples in a row and miss every time. It’s chaotic, kind of dumb, and honestly, I couldn’t stop playing once I got the hang of it.
If you’re into obscure retro games or just want to see what happens when you mix Bible stories with 90s FPS mechanics, this is a trip worth taking. Just don’t expect it to make much sense.
