Super Metroid Justin Bailey is one of those SNES games that just sticks with you. You start off as Samus, landing on this eerie alien planet with nothing but your basic arm cannon—but before long, you're backtracking through maze-like corridors, hunting for power-ups that let you blast through walls or morph into a tiny ball to squeeze into hidden tunnels.
The atmosphere is thick with that classic Metroid vibe—dimly lit caves, weird alien creatures skittering around, and that soundtrack that somehow makes every new area feel even more isolated. Boss fights are brutal at first, but once you figure out their patterns (and maybe die a few times), it’s so satisfying to finally take them down.
And yeah, the Justin Bailey code? Absolute legend. If you know, you know. This is retro gaming at its best—no hand-holding, just pure exploration and that "aha!" moment when everything clicks. Still holds up today.
