Super Metroid B2-TW is one of those SNES games that just sticks with you. You start off as Samus, dropping into this eerie alien planet with nothing but your blaster and a creeping sense that something’s watching you. The atmosphere is thick—every corridor feels like it’s hiding secrets, and the music? Absolute chills.
At first, you’ll backtrack a lot, hitting dead ends until you find the right power-up to blast through. That might sound frustrating, but it’s weirdly satisfying when you finally unlock a new path. And the bosses? Ridley still gives me nightmares. The way the game just throws you in with no hand-holding makes every discovery feel like a personal victory.
If you’ve never played it, expect to get lost—in a good way. It’s the kind of game where you’ll pause just to take in the weird alien scenery before jumping back into the fight. One of the all-time greats, no question.
