Super Mario's Quest Demo 2 is one of those weird little SNES romhacks that feels like stumbling into an alternate universe where someone remixed Mario with Zelda. You still jump on Goombas, but now there’s an overworld map, RPG-ish progression, and even some light puzzle-solving. The demo’s rough around the edges—expect some janky hitboxes and cryptic moments—but it’s got this scrappy charm if you’re into retro experiments. I got stuck for way too long trying to figure out where that hidden key was.
