Super Mario World Star Editi Game

Super Mario World Star Edition is one of those SNES romhacks that actually feels like a proper expansion—not just some random level edits. You still get the classic Yoshi-riding, cape-gliding action, but now with way more secrets, tougher challenges, and some wild new power-ups. Found a star that lets Mario shoot fireballs and spin jump? Yeah, that’s a thing now.
The levels are redesigned to mess with your muscle memory in the best way. You’ll recognize bits of the original, but suddenly there’s a hidden pipe leading to a brutal bonus room or a cheeky enemy placement that makes you rethink your approach. And good luck 100%-ing this—some of those exits are sneaky as hell.
If you’ve played vanilla SMW to death, this’ll give you that “first time discovering secrets” feeling all over again. Just don’t throw your controller when you hit the new special world.
