Super Mario World Plus is basically the classic SNES game we all love, but with some sneaky little tweaks that make it feel fresh again. You still get Yoshi, those satisfying cape spins, and all the secret exits you probably missed as a kid—except now there are new power-ups, hidden levels, and even a few surprise boss fights.

At first, it feels familiar—running through the first few grassy levels, bouncing off koopas—but then you’ll stumble on a weird mushroom that does something totally different, or a pipe that dumps you into a remixed version of a level you thought you knew. It’s not a full overhaul, just enough to make you double-take. If you’ve played the original to death, this version’s got just the right amount of mischief to keep it interesting.
