About Super Mario World Iceballz
Super Mario World IceBallz is a fan made modification of the original Super Mario World, designed for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System. It was not released commercially by Nintendo, but created by enthusiasts who altered the game's mechanics and level design. This places it among the many ROM hacks that extended the life of the SNES library long after its official support ended.
You control Mario, navigating him through side scrolling levels filled with platforms and enemies. The main objective is to reach the goal at the end of each stage, just like in the original game. The signature mechanics include the new ice ball power up, which replaces Mario's standard fireballs with a projectile that can freeze foes solid, and the ability to explore levels that often require careful platforming and strategic use of this new weapon.
