Ever played Super Mario World so much you could speedrun it blindfolded? This hack—Special Edition 1.5—throws in enough twists to make it feel new again. The levels are remixed, some enemies behave differently, and there are a few surprises I won’t spoil. At first, it’s familiar—same old Yoshi, same flutter jump—but then you hit a level where the ground starts crumbling way faster than it should, or you stumble into a secret path that definitely wasn’t in the original.

It’s not a total overhaul, more like someone took the game you love and tweaked it just enough to keep you on your toes. Some sections are brutal, but in that satisfying "one more try" way. If you’ve burned through the vanilla version too many times, this’ll give you a reason to dust off the SNES.
