Super Mario World Advanced 1 is basically the original SNES classic, but cranked up to 11. Same familiar Mushroom Kingdom vibes, except now the levels are way trickier—hidden blocks in evil spots, tighter jumps, and enemies popping up where you least expect them. If you’ve played the original to death, this romhack keeps that nostalgia while actually making you sweat.

First thing you’ll notice? Yoshi feels faster, and those cape feathers aren’t just for show anymore—you’ll need every trick to survive some of these remixed stages. I died like five times in the first world because I got too comfortable. Not complaining though, it’s the good kind of pain.

Perfect for when you want Mario but need your skills tested. Just don’t throw your controller.
