Super Mario World Advanced is basically the classic SNES game, but someone cranked up the difficulty just enough to keep you on your toes. You still get the same colorful worlds and that sweet, nostalgic soundtrack, but the level layouts are tweaked—more enemies, trickier jumps, and a few surprises if you're used to breezing through the original.

At first, it feels familiar—Yoshi’s still there, the cape feather works the same—but then you hit a level where the platforms are just slightly meaner, or a row of Koopas shows up where they shouldn’t. It’s not brutal, but you’ll actually have to pay attention this time. Perfect if you’ve played the original to death and want something fresh without being totally unrecognizable.

Also, the secret exits are still there, but good luck finding them without sweating a little.
