Super Mario World 2 - Yoshi's Grand Adventure Game

Oh man, Yoshi's Island is one of those SNES gems that still holds up. You're not playing as Mario this time—instead, you're riding Yoshi through these wild, crayon-colored levels trying to rescue Baby Mario. The art style is so charming, like a living storybook, and the platforming feels just right—not too floaty, not too stiff.
What really makes it special are the little touches: Yoshi's flutter jump, the way enemies turn into eggs you can throw, those weird transformations where you become a helicopter or a mole. And those boss fights? Some of the most creative in any Mario game. Just try not to get too stressed when Baby Mario starts wailing after you get hit.
It's got that perfect mix of being easy to pick up but tough to master, especially if you're going for 100%. The music's catchy too—you'll be humming those tunes for days.
