Super Mario World - The New Lands Game

Super Mario World - The New Lands is one of those fan-made hacks that actually feels like a proper sequel. It’s got all the charm of the original—Yoshi, secret exits, those satisfying cape spins—but with brand-new levels that somehow nail the classic SMW vibe. The first few stages ease you in with familiar greens and browns, but before long you’re bouncing off weird new enemies or stumbling into hidden paths that weren’t in the manual (because, well, there isn’t one).
Some of the platforming gets surprisingly tricky, especially in the later worlds, but it never feels unfair. And yeah, you’ll still find yourself humming the underground theme after shutting it off. If you’ve rinsed the original and want more, this is the romhack to grab.
