Super Mario World - Quest On Full Moon Island Game

Super Mario World - Quest on Full Moon Island is one of those SNES ROM hacks that actually feels like a lost sequel. It’s got that classic SMW vibe—Yoshi’s still munching enemies, the cape feather makes a comeback—but the levels are completely new, and way more challenging than the original. The first time I played, I got wrecked by some sneaky hidden blocks (classic Mario troll move).
Full Moon Island adds a bunch of custom sprites, too—some of the enemies look fresh but still fit right in. The music’s remixed, so it’s familiar but not just a straight copy. If you’ve played vanilla SMW to death, this one’s worth a spin if you’re up for something tougher. Just don’t blame me when you lose your last life to a surprise Piranha Plant.
