Super Mario World - Master Hand's Doomsday Game

Super Mario World - Master Hand's Doomsday is one of those wild ROM hacks that takes the classic SNES game and cranks the chaos up to 11. You still get the tight platforming and Yoshi-riding fun of the original, but now Master Hand from Smash Bros. shows up to wreck everything. The levels are remixed with brutal enemy placements and some genuinely sneaky traps—I died way more than I'd like to admit on the first few jumps.
What’s cool is how it blends Mario’s usual charm with this weirdly intense boss rush vibe. One minute you're bouncing off goombas, the next you're dodging Master Hand’s giant finger slams. The sprite edits are surprisingly clean, too—Bowser’s got a new look, and some of the power-ups feel just different enough to keep you on your toes. If you’ve played the original to death and want something fresh (but punishing), this is a solid pick. Just don’t throw your controller when Master Hand spams his spin attack.
