Super Mario World - Legend Of The Four Switches Game

Super Mario World - Legend of the Four Switches is one of those fan-made ROM hacks that actually feels like a proper expansion to the original. It’s still the same classic SMW gameplay—Yoshi’s there, the cape feather’s still broken if you know how to use it—but the levels are all new, and they’re tough. Like, "why did I just lose 12 lives in Bowser’s Castle again?" tough.
The gimmick here is the four switches hidden in each world, which unlock secret exits and alternate paths. Some are cleverly tucked away behind invisible blocks (of course), while others require you to pull off some tight platforming. The music’s remixed too, with a few unexpected tracks that somehow fit perfectly.
If you’ve rinsed the original SMW and want something fresh but familiar, this is a solid pick. Just don’t blame me when you get stuck on that one autoscroll level.
