Super Mario World - Bowser's Hideout 2 Game

Super Mario World - Bowser's Hideout 2 is one of those classic SNES romhacks that feels like it could've been an official level. You start off in a twisted version of Bowser's usual lair—lava everywhere, those annoying fireballs bouncing around, and way more Hammer Bros than anyone asked for. The level design's actually pretty clever, with hidden paths and some sneaky platforming that'll trip you up if you're not paying attention.
First time I played it, I got wrecked by a surprise Piranha Plant popping out of a pipe I thought was safe. Classic Mario troll move. The music's the same as the original Bowser levels, which is both nostalgic and kinda stressful when you're trying not to fall into lava for the tenth time. If you've beaten vanilla Super Mario World too many times, this gives that final stretch some fresh chaos.
Just don't throw your controller when you miss the jump over the disappearing blocks near the end.
