Super Mario World - B7 is one of those SNES hacks that actually feels like a proper expansion to the original game. It's got all the charm of the classic—Yoshi, those satisfying cape spins, secret exits—but with new levels that ramp up the difficulty in a way that doesn't feel cheap. The first few stages ease you in, but by the time you hit the second world, you'll be bouncing off Koopas to reach hidden blocks like it's second nature.

What I love is how it plays with expectations—some of the power-up placements are sneaky, and there are a few alternate paths that make replaying levels worth it. The music and visuals stay true to the original, so it doesn’t feel like some janky fan project. If you’ve rinsed the vanilla game and want something fresh without losing that Mario magic, this is the one.
