Super Mario World - A Christmas Walk Game

Super Mario World - A Christmas Walk is one of those weird little holiday ROM hacks that turns the original game into a snowy, festive mess. You’ve got Mario running through familiar levels, but now everything’s covered in snowflakes, there are Christmas trees everywhere, and some of the enemies wear Santa hats. It’s janky in that charming fan-made way—like someone went wild with a sprite editor while drinking eggnog.
At first, it feels like a reskin, but then you notice the little changes—some altered level layouts, weirdly placed power-ups, and music that’s been tweaked just enough to sound vaguely holiday-ish. Not exactly polished, but if you’ve played the original to death, it’s a fun distraction for a lazy December afternoon. Just don’t expect Nintendo-level quality.
