Super Mario War Game

Super Mario War on SNES is this weird little gem where Mario and friends (or enemies) just... beat each other up. It's not your usual platformer—more like a chaotic brawl with power-ups, fireballs, and way too many ways to knock someone off the screen. The controls are simple, but the madness ramps up fast, especially if you’ve got a few friends yelling next to you.
First time I played, I picked Luigi because, well, green. Big mistake—Bowser stomped me into the lava in about ten seconds. The stages are small and packed with hazards, so even if you’re winning, some random turtle shell can ruin your day. It’s janky in that old-school way where half the fun is laughing at how unfair it gets.
Honestly, it’s the kind of game you boot up when you want something quick and stupid with friends. Just don’t take it seriously, or you’ll end up throwing a controller.
