Super Mario Land 4 (demo) is one of those weird, unofficial Mario hacks floating around—basically someone’s passion project that remixes classic SNES Mario mechanics with some new levels. The controls feel familiar, but the level design throws in a few curveballs, like hidden exits that aren’t where you’d expect. Graphics are a mix of original assets and slightly off edits, which gives it that charming bootleg vibe.

First thing you’ll notice? The physics are almost right, but Mario’s jump arcs just a little differently. Took me a few tries to adjust.
